After earning his Master's in Political Science and a Law degree from the University of Cincinnati, Ed found himself en route to his first day at a renowned law firm in downtown Cincinnati. In a pivotal moment, he pulled over to make a consequential phone call to the firm, stating, "I don't think I'll be coming in today; I've decided to pursue my passion instead."
This marked the genesis of a five-decade-long career in tennis, influencing both children and adults alike. Joining forces with the DeVoe family and a community of tennis aficionados in Indianapolis, Ed co-founded the Indianapolis Racquet Club. Through collaborations with esteemed organizations such as the USTA, CITA, USPTA, NJTL, and more, he disseminated his love for tennis to thousands across the Midwest.
